Lara Logan is the reporter who was raped by ‘protestors’ in Tahrir Square, Cairo. In this very partisan speech to the ‘Better Government Association’ luncheon, Logan tells it like it is. She denounces the administration as liars and calls on Obama to retaliate for the murder of an American diplomat on US soil (our consulate is technically US soil). And she says we are vulnerable right now–they are coming after us, she warns.

If only they had videotaped her keynote speech–and she gave it in Obama’s hometown of Chicago.

This is a rather bizarre story. The man in question appears to have discarded 50 bottles with wicks duct-taped onto them from a trash bin outside the hotel. Also, documents that outlined his agenda had been torn up and had to be reassembled by investigators. Did the man receive a tip-off, or did he just decide against the plan? Or–is this a setup?

The ‘plan’ doesn’t appear appear to have been a one-off, spectacular event but rather a long-term series:

“…one of the journal entries read as follows: “Self-Promote for the next 4 years while beginning list of goals written out in Oklahoma having to do with destroying and removing church buildings from U.S., a tiny bit at a time — setting foundation for the years to follow.”

If the plan was to evolve over ‘years to follow’, then why 50 bottles ready to become ‘Molotov cocktails’? ‘Tis a puzzlement.

The SEAL team and the smaller, personal security team were both withdrawn from Libya at a time when Ambassador Stevens was clearly concerned about security (as noted in his personal journal, discovered after the fact by CNN)? Shame on the US State Department and the Dept. of Defense! Americans should be angry that a US diplomat should have been killed, but this ‘set up’ by our own administration should make us livid!

Three weeks later, and the FBI team finally leaves Tripoli to sift through the evidence on scene in Benghazi. It’s just too bad that Ambassador Stevens (or ‘Chris’ as we’re told the locals called him) didn’t have an armored car escort when he visited there.

Though it’s nice and quite appropriate for our own FBI experts to investigate the crime scene, we’re wondering just how much is there to inspect now that the perpetrators have had three weeks to sanitize the scene.

We’re betting that the end result is that ‘Al Qaeda’ did it.

KMOX and CBS in the East St. Louis area are today reporting a suspicious package that may have precipitated the illness of at least 3 postal workers. Thirteen employees of the Scott Air Force Base mail center (yes, the article said ’13′) have been decontaminated and three have been admitted to the hospital after coming across a package that emitted a “sulphur-like smell’.

This comes just three days after a Florida post office reported encountering a suspicious smell that left workers nauseous and dizzy.

Tampa Fire Rescue’s Hazardous Materials Team responded to the scene and evacuated the building’s first floor after two workers complained of nausea and dizziness after smelling a licorice type of odor coming from a package.. (WTSP report at www.wtsp.com)

Although responders eventually credited the illnesses with exposure to leaking grease, this new incident at Scott AFB raises the ugly possibility that this is intentional. Given that 9/11/11 is only ten days away, this possibility grows even more probable.
