LONDON (Reuters) — Two prisons have been converted to house only foreign prisoners in an attempt to speed up the deportation process once they complete their sentence, the government said on Wednesday.

It follows the sacking of former Home Secretary Charles Clarke last year after it emerged 1,000 foreign prisoners had been freed without being considered for deportation. Full Report
